New House in the Cove

We were the last house on the road at the top end of Perry’s Cove, until someone moved back into White’s Room.  Nestled into the hill, this jewel of a house catches the eye.  In my first attempt at painting out of doors, I took my gear onto my back deck and painted on a hot, breezy July day.  The paint was drying on the brush between palette and paper.  All things considered, I think the result was satisfactory.  The original (Acrylic on 9 x 12 acrylic paper) has been mounted, and given to the home owners as a house-warming gift.  May they enjoy many years “in the Cove.”  July 2016.
